Research topics

In the laboratory of the Micropia chair research group in the O2 laboratory building of the VU University, applied microbiological research into what role bacteria play in our health takes place. The composition of the human microbiota is examined, the connections between this composition and human health are examined, and research is being conducted into possible connections with growth retardation and language development in Ugandan children.
